Marble Falls High School Senior ~ Emily

I think that deep down inside I have been avoiding posting these.  This session is one that when I hit "publish" there is no going back.  TBH, I have to move forward no matter what but I think I'm under the illusion that if I don't post, it isn't real.  Well.... I can't pretend anymore.  My baby is graduating high school this year and is taking a piece of my heart to San Marcos.  I am so thrilled that she choose to be as close as she will be but it only makes it a teeny weeny bit easier.

We love and adore you Em!  We are so crazy proud of all you have accomplished and are super excited to see what the next few years will bring.  Remember, we are only an hour and a half away.   And a text or phone call is even quicker.  So, text and call OFTEN!  If you don't, we will, haha!

Having Fun, Hannah and the Hobby Lobby Challenge

So.  One of the things I LOVE to do is play.  And experiment.  And be creative.  And push the envelope a little.

I can't believe that I have waited this long to follow through with something I envisioned a LOOOONG time ago.  I seriously wish I had been more bold, less afraid of getting caught (and thrown out) and just did it.  I could have been the one to start the trend, gah!

You may have heard about the #hobbylobbychallenge started recently.  A photographer went to Hobby Lobby and shot around the store and posted, challenging people to shoot in ugly places and make them cool.  So... after deliberating about this (and daydreaming about it too if I'm honest) I convinced my girl to play along with me.  She hadn't quite conquered her worries of being watched by other shoppers so by the last set, she was done, lol!

Anyone daring enough to go hang out with me at Hobby Lobby and play a little bit?!?!  I'd LOVE to do this again and be able to really get the creative juices going!

The New Building ~ Pre-Asbestos Abatement

It's hard to believe all the things that must happen before you can do things like this.  Renovation and remodeling (especially as a business) comes with all kinds of red tape and rules and laws and permits and rules and stuff.  We are continually in a flux of trusting that God is moving this project along.  I think our prayer life will become much more deep and often ;)

I totally spaced bringing the "real" camera to grab these quick shots but the iphone did a pretty good job.  You'll get the idea at least, lol!

The real fun is going to be seeing this place after the abatement team is done.  I can't wait!

I LOVE what the dumpster says... Perfectly put and exactly what we'll need to keep on the forefront of our minds.

It feels a tad more breathable with all the counters gone.  Who am I kidding... no it doesn't!  O.o

So... colorful...

Um, yes.... it's hard to imagine what this will eventually be.  I'm so grateful I have a pretty good ability to imagine things, lol!

We left this on the counter... figured the asbestos team would want to handle this one.  I have no idea what these were used for but imagining anything with asbestos being put in my body through my mouth makes me want to....  :P
